November Update

I am excited to share with you how God has been working in my life. This last month I have experienced a lockdown in France.

Lockdown Life
Normally you wouldn't expect to hear that someone is thriving during a lockdown. Surprisingly that's how I have been feeling. We have had a laid back schedule this past month and I've been able to fill my time with many things. I've gotten to do a lot of my favorite things such as baking, embroidering, writing encouragement cards, and spending lots of quality time with my friends and roommates. It helps that most of my friends live on the same property as me. So between the opportunity to focus on my hobbies and working in hospitality, I've been quite busy.

Cafe Ministry
We have a cafe here that caters to our Paris base. We are not currently open to the public but we are open to everyone on site. I got briefly trained on how to make various different drinks before lockdown happened. So lots of my training happened on the job. It has been fun serving the staff and students here. I also love learning how hospitality branches out to all aspects of ministries.

Leading the Hospitality Ministry
I have been promoted to lead our hospitality ministry. I am fully in charge of the day-to-day running of the department. It's an exciting new challenge since it's just me for now and we have about 40 people here on the base. Currently, it looks like baking for the base, planning on-site events, and keeping up with general upkeep and tidying. It is definitely a lot of work but I love what I do.

'Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. '
Romans 12:9-13

Prayer Requests

• France - Please pray that as our lockdown ends the number of COVID cases decreases.
• Hospitality Ministry - Leading a ministry is a lot of work and can be challenging at times. Please pray that I am able to lead well and continue to follow God's direction.
• Megan and Titi's wedding - My friends have had another delay in getting married and are now postponing their wedding again until early December. Please keep praying for them that they may be able to finally exchange vows.

Thank You
I am so thankful for your support and faithfulness. There are not enough words to express my gratitude.
I ask that you continue keeping me in your thoughts and prayers.

Love and Blessings,
Christina
